Yet another busy week this week with two more crane lifts. Earlier in the week the guys were prepping the timber frame sections so we were good to go with the first of the weeks lifts on Wednesday. It was a action packed day as it always is when we have a crane on site but by the close of play Wednesday we had achieved all we set out to do. Thursday was another day prepping the timber frame for what was to be the final lifting day on Friday. The guys battled the elements on Friday to yet again acheive the targets set for the week.

Its been another busy week on site this week with yet another two crane lifts. We were straight into action on Monday with the first of them, this one was to lift the second floor cassettes into position. Tuesday was a day for carrying out all the tasks such as the infill pieces and the setting out of the wall plate for the trusses to be positioned on. Wednesday the crane was with us again to lift the roof trusses up onto the second floor level where the timber frame erectors spread the trusses out and brace them in readiness for the cranes next visit.
Meanwhile in and around the timber framers and the scaffolders all but completed their works to the perimeter and loading bays just leaving down the elevation facing the area in which the crane is positioned to enable it to lift the remaining timber frame sections into position.

After a long weekend the guys came back refreshed and were straight into action with a big day on Tuesday with a crane lift.  The floor cassettes to the first floor were lifted into position on Tuesday and completed and prepped up for another big day on Thursday. The crane was back on site on Thursday to lift the first floor walls into position. The scaffolders continued with their work taking the perimeter scaffold up progressively.
